Event Close
What is Event Close?
Event Close is the deadline for Activity responses to reach Miles & Hours if they are to count. Check the time in your Event plan and allow enough time to send what you have saved.
Make sure it arrived
A photo, answer, or check-in must reach Miles & Hours before Event Close to count. Saving it on your phone while you are offline does not send it. When you have service, upload it and check your participant page for confirmation.
A new response received after the deadline cannot count, even if it was captured earlier. The time shown in the Event uses the Host’s chosen time zone.
After Event Close
Hosts can continue reviewing responses that arrived on time and prepare the Results and Story. Participants can work on eligible Story Entries afterward.
You may revise or remove an ordinary Activity response that was received before Close. A revision goes back to the Host for review and can affect its points; it does not make a late response count. Start and Finish check-ins cannot be edited or removed. An in-person Wrap is a gathering after Close, not extra time to send new responses.
